Going For Gujarat
Demand for new technologies and extra production capacity in India continues unabated – 20% pa growth estimated – making Indian Ceramics an increasingly important meeting point. 70% of India’s ceramic manufacture takes place in Gujarat.
“Exhibitors and visitors alike expressed their keenness to see this show staged in Gujarat,” said Director Kevin Hudson. “We are delighted to announce that the 4th Indian Ceramics will take place in Ahmedabad, 4-6 March 2009.”
Gattaca also announces 2 specialist events at Indian Ceramics 2009. “Next year, we will incorporate IBaRT (India Brick & Roof Tile) and India-ETC (1st Engineering & Technical Ceramics Expo),” it said. “This is an exciting enhancement to what’s already offered and puts a declared emphasis on 2 very important sectors which don’t always get the recognition they deserve.”
These 2 events reflect the extra scope provided by move to Gujarat and the crucial role these ceramic sectors play in local economy. |
