The Nigerian gas sector is embarking on an exciting period of growth and investment as the new President Umaru Yar’Adua focuses on repositioning Nigeria in a stronger position within the global gas market. Key new strategies are in place to ensure progress in the form of the development of a Natural Gas Policy, Legislative Reviews, Fiscal Reforms, and a Gas Master Plan. A series of three events, organised by ITE Group plc and FSG Communications Ltd in collaboration with the NNPC and the Ministry of Energy, will highlight major new opportunities available as a result of these plans, and facilitate involvement in the industry, which will complement Nigeria’s ambitious programme to speed up the development of the gas sector. |
