Shanghai International Petroleum Petrochemical Exhibition(SIPPE)is a key exhibition strongly supported by Shanghai Municipal Government and China Council For The Promotion Of International Trade(CCPIT). SIPPE is organized by Shanghai Petroleum Society, CCPIT Pudong Sub-Council, Shanghai Pudong International Exhibition Corporation and Shanghai Aiexpo Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. In the past 4 years, with the support of industry organizations and enterprises home and abroad, SIPPE has been growing year by year. Up to now, there have been 1200 enterprises from more than 30 countries and regions exhibiting in SIPPE. 45000 industry insiders from more than 40 countries come to visit. The total transactions in the 4 exhibitions amounted to 12.0 billion.

In SIPPE 2009, there were around 300 VIP purchasing agents arrived as invitation, professional audience over 15820. Companies like CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC, AMOCO, Gasprom, Perupetro, PTT and Saudi Aramco brought projects searching for cooperation, the business volume at exhibition scene reached nearly 300 million RMB.
